                              RESOLUTION NO. 21530
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
                 NO. SS-3-97, CONSTRUCTION OF FRAZIER AVENUE -
                 PHASE II, WALNUT STREET TO TREMONT STREET, TO
                 RAINES BROTHERS, INC. FOR THEIR LOW BID IN THE
                 AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-NINE THOUSAND
                 DOLLARS ($159,000.00).
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of Contract No. SS-3-97, Construction of Frazier Avenue -
       Phase II, Walnut Street to Tremont Street, to Raines Brothers,
       Inc. for their low bid in the amount of $159,000.00.
